Kutti Gang is a New York Times and Time Out New York recommended comedy show featuring women and LGBTQ+ South Asian comedians. Hosted by Pooja Reddy and Zubi Ahmed, Kutti Gang premiered their first comedy special on PBS and All Arts Network in August 2020.

Pooja Reddy is a Kentucky transplant, stand-up comedian, and writer currently based in NYC. A recovering government employee under the Obama Administration, Pooja now co-hosts the NY Times recommended show, Kutti Gang, a showcase for women and LGBTQ+ South Asian comedians. Kutti Gang premiered their first comedy special on PBS and All Arts Network in August 2020. Pooja also hosts the Time Out New York recommended stand up show, Critical Darlings, which has featured Ilana Glazer (Broad City, Comedy Central), Jay Jurden (Fallon), Natasha Vaynblat (Little Late w/ Lilly Singh) and many more.

Zubi Ahmed is a Bengali-American Muslim writer, comedian, and filmmaker. Short on all things including height, temper, and patience, she's convinced she is related to Joe Pesci. Zubi has been featured on Vulture’s “Best Up and Coming Comedians” and Bustle’s “5 Muslim Women Comedians Who Will Get You Through Social Distancing”.

SAHANA SRINIVASAN

Sahana Srinivasan is an actress, comedian, and filmmaker from Texas. Sahana hosted the Netflix original science show “Brainchild,” for which she was featured in Forbes, NowThis, Variety, NPR, and more. She has also hosted for comedians Emo Phillips and Ego Nwodim, and she was a finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin Contest. Sahana is known for her absurd characters and silly one liners about her cultural identity and life experience. 


SURENI WEERASEKARA

Sureni Weerasekera is a Sri Lankan-born, San Diego-raised, & San Francisco-based stand-up comedian, actor and writer. She is known for her lighthearted, conversational banter to her ruthless, dark jabs that shed light on cultural dilemmas in a palatable, enticing way.  She recently opened for Comedy Central’s Roast Battle Champion, Frank Castillo.


ELECTRA TELESFORD

Electra Telesford is a standup comedian, born and raised in Brooklyn NY to Guyanese parents. Known for her observational humor and astute wit centered around her intersectional experiences. Electra has been featured in the New York Times and Women in Comedy Festival. She has appeared in sketches for Color of Change, and consulted for Marsai Martin's Tiny Talk Show. Electra runs two weekly shows, Electra Company and Lip Service.
